The position of Senior Programme Officer is ideal for a young professional with an educational background in media, politics, or development, and with a strong interest in pro-poor advocacy. Main responsibilities, Tasks and Activities
- Monitoring developments in the urban space, with a focus on urban poor communities
- Liaising with civil society, the government and other stakeholders
- Produce publications and other media about urban issues
- Online advocacy efforts
- Linking with students and young professionals
- Project management support
Skills and Qualifications required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in media, politics, development, or related field
- At least 2 years or work experience, preferably in advocacy
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Khmer, including ability to write reports and make presentations to a range of audiences
- Excellent computer literacy and ability to use various media
- Analytical ability and experience in conducting research
- Enthusiastic attitude and team working skills
