On 10th October, 2024, STT organized the annual community forum under the theme “Housing justice and inclusive development” with 150 participants from partner organizations, urban and other rural communities and youth groups. The main activities of this forum included sharing experiences from land community representatives, presenting annual community outcome reports, roundtable discussions, group discussions on community challenges and needs. Screening short videos of community struggles for land and housing rights, forum theater performances and fashion shows, as well as talks from youth groups.
This forum aimed to provide opportunities for urban and rural communities to raise the main challenges related to land and housing rights, and to strengthen networks and build solidarity among communities, as well as liaise with stakeholders in discussions to raise issues and solutions to promote transparency, peace and justice.
