Participants: There were 17 participants in total, of which 6 were women. Amongst the 17 participants there were 4 trainers from STT. Most of trainees were from RUA, PUC, IFL, CCHR and RUPP.

On July 18th, 2015, Sahmakum Teang Tnaut (STT) in close collaboration with People In Need (PIN) prepared training on the inclusive spatial planning—alternative to relocation. Firstly, all trainees were provided with history of eviction, relocation and problems in Phnom Penh city. Then, they were presented about the world urbanization since 1930 and projected figure in 2030. And then, they were explained about the meaning of HRBSP and why we conducted HRBSP project in Cambodia.
After that, they were shared with technique of participatory community mapping .The key question regarding mapping was asked to trainees was what does community mapping mean? then, they were explained that, it was an approach that helps engage community people to get actively participate in sharing, discussing, and providing feedback during process, to expense knowledge, experience to empower community capacity to deal with variety problems happened in their community (water Aid, 2005). Besides, another question was concerned with why do we need participatory mapping? and the next step for the mapping were process of participatory approach, map with community, sketching, produce digital map, enumeration, revise community data and enumeration, and how to dissemination.
The next presentation was highlighted about alternative spatial planning. With the spatial planning all trainees were shown about the key points to do it such as physical infrastructure, public service, economic, social context, land tenure, administrative, environment, and social housing. After this was finished, they were presented about the on-site upgrading to make students drew attention to improving physical infrastructure, improving income, environment and sanitation, housing, promoting welfare, living condition, lifestyle, security, security of land tenure, facilities, health care, promoting non- violence and GNH (Gross National Happiness). The last presentation was about the on-site redevelopment plan.
The next activity was that, all trainees were divided into 3 groups to let them design about the alternative spatial planning with a group presentation to show their results of designing.
