Sahmakum Teang Tnaut (STT) is seeking highly qualified local candidate to fill position of Short term Guest Blogger. Successful candidates will join a young and dedicated team using cutting edge technology and evidence‐based advocacy strategies to monitor the impacts of urbanization on the urban poor in Phnom Penh.

Project description:
Urban voice (www.urbanvoicecambodia.net) is a crowd mapping project focused on urban change that uses the Ushahidi platform as its basis. The site was officially launched on 8th October 2013. Urban Voice has been building awareness to mass audience through increasing the blog contents so that visitors can know more about urban project, urban development and urban issue in Phnom Penh.

Main responsibilities
Write fresh and original content about urban issue (e.g forced eviction, urban poor community issues, land dispute…), urban development (e.g new development site, new buildings,…) and related topics for Urban
Voice website. Each blog post will be written in English language from 700 to 1200 words with a few nice photos.

Requirements:
• At least two years’ experience in writing news articles and blog contents
• Experience in urban issues and urban development
• Must be a good writer, team player and technologically savvy
• Proactive, flexible, and creative
• Skillful in using internet and email
• Passionate about blogging and writing
• Friendly and conversational
• Fast Learner
