Volunteering

We have varying levels of interest in volunteering – Cambodian students gaining some part time work experience, PhD students from abroad needing a base for studies and international volunteers with relevant experience who can commit 3-12 months.

STT currently has links with Star Kampuchea http://www.starkampuchea.org.kh/ and Engineers without Borders (Australia) http://www.ewb.org.au/about/aboutewb/.

Volunteers can get involved in STT’s work in one of a number of different ways:

International Volunteers

  • Research Students: Masters or Phd students looking for a base in Cambodia with a local NGO involved in these issues. We can provide contacts and links for research in return for technical assistance within a growing research programme.

Local Volunteers

  • Local Interns: local volunteers who have the opportunity to join STT for relevant work experience and have an interest in what STT is about. We also have links with groups in the Philippines (TAO), Thailand (CASE) and Japan (CASE).

Donations

STT welcomes any contributions although we reserve the right to refuse support.
