Community Empowerment Project

The Community Empowerment Project aims to build the confidence and ownership of communities in organizing advocacy activities by themselves, in order to demand their land and housing rights. To accomplish this intended aim, the project builds the capacity of community activists through providing different trainings on land rights, right to adequate housing, human rights and non-violent advocacy approaches in order to provide community members with the knowledge and tools to seek support from stakeholders. Moreover, the project also provides opportunities for urban and rural target communities to network amongst themselves in order to strengthen relationships and seek mutual support.
