The community enumeration and mapping workshop

On August 21, 2014 the Human Rights Based Spatial Planning project provided training to residents at Chreang Chamres I in Village2 and Village 3. The purpose of the training was for community members to understand about the advantages of community mapping, and to train them in basic map-sketching skills.

AHUP Project hosted a workshop on the Use of “Open Street Map” at DIA

On March 28, 2014, One Project of Sahmakum Teang Tnaut, called AHUP Project hosted a workshop on the Use of “Open Street Map” at DIA center. The purpose of the workshop is to introduce students and NGO workers to know how to use GPS, and know how to us Open Street Map, which is useful in marking the location of particular places in online map.

At 8:00 am, Miss. Khorn Sokkheang, AHUP project officer did the introduction about the AHUP project, and then Mr. Sok Lida, Mapping Project Manager of Sahmakum Teang Tnaut did the presentation about how to use Open Street Map and GPS.

The workshop was spend full day which participated by 25 participants within a joyful snacks and lunch. Then Samakum Teang Tnaut’s team and all participants went to the poor communities to practice what they leaned about Open Street Map and how to use GPS.
