Celebrating the 114th Anniversary of International Women’s Day

Here are some pictures from the celebration of International Women’s Day by communities in Phnom Penh and the provinces. The celebration was attended by more than 1,000 community members, youth, and local authorities from 15 communities, including six communities in Phnom Penh, four communities in Kampot province, three communities in Svay Rieng province, and two other communities in Kampong Chhnang and Koh Kong provinces.

The target communities of STT celebrated the event and organized creative celebrations for this day, including community gatherings, dancing, speeches, and writing messages related to land and housing issues and promoting women's rights, with the aim of promoting the female community's achievements in protecting land and housing rights and seeking relevant stakeholders to find land and housing solutions.

In addition, STT also joined other partner NGOs in organizing to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8 under the theme "Empowering Women and Girls for Equality, Economic Stability, and Social Justice" at Freedom Park in Phnom Penh.
