The Community Youth Leadership Program (CYLP), launched in 2024, has become STT's initiative in youth empowerment. This program is dedicated to empowering young Cambodians from urban poor communities, as well as students, by providing them with experiences in land and housing rights, human rights, and climate change issues.

Historically, STT has been actively involved with youth since 2009, through projects that have encouraged cross-cultural dialogues by facilitating exchanges between Cambodian youth and international universities. These efforts have laid the groundwork for CYLP by establishing a network of young leaders.

Additionally, STT's Urban Voice platform has played a significant role in youth engagement. The platform allowed young people to contribute to urban development and planning. It enabled youth to exercise their rights to the city and voice concerns about urban design, public transport, waste management, infrastructure, traffic, and environmental issues through campaigns, public awareness, capacity development, and actions both online and offline.
